Find helpful Android settings
These are Android device settings. Their names and availability can vary by phone and Android version. We have not yet completed TalkBack or enlarged-text testing across all One-Line Journal screens on Android.
Turn on TalkBack
Open Settings → Accessibility → TalkBack, then turn on Use TalkBack. TalkBack provides spoken feedback and changes the gestures you use to control your phone. Google’s guide explains how to navigate with it enabled.

Open Settings and search for Font size or Display size, then adjust the slider. Font size changes text, while display size changes the size of items on your screen. How these settings affect a particular app screen can vary.
Google’s text and display settings guideExplore motion and other options
Where available, open Settings → Accessibility → Color and motion and turn on Remove animations. Google’s overview also covers color settings, magnification, and ways to control your device with your voice or switches.

Larger Text
We are still testing enlarged text across sign-in, writing, History, and settings. Larger Text support is not currently claimed in our App Store listing, and we have not confirmed every screen at the largest text sizes.
To adjust your device’s text size, open Settings → Accessibility → Display & Text Size → Larger Text. Turn on Larger Accessibility Sizes for more options, then adjust the slider. If text is cut off or a control is hard to reach, tell us which screen and text setting you used.
